NIGERIAN ARTISTS CONCERT PAYCHECKS vs CAMEROON.. WHY CAMEROONIAN ARTISTS SHOULD STOP RANTING

Recently, Cameroonians were all over the net ranting about Nigerian artists paychecks and who should headline or who should begin the show and a lot more. Looking at statistics, Cameroonians should better quit the ranting and get back to maybe talking positively about our artists online so that others can feel like listening to them "If you don't market your goods, you won't sell" .

To begin, Tekno was invited by Johnny Walker to perform along side Mboko God "JOVI". The actual sum paid inn for Tekno to perform was published by 237Showbiz which was said to be about 64 million FCFA and worst of all, Tekno wasn't in his prime time. We went ranting as usual then now came the turn for the self acclaimed African Giant Burna Boy who was invited to perform by Orange Cameroon and sources claimed he was paid a whooping sum of 300,000 Dollars that's roughly 175 million that left Cameroon to nourish Nigeria. I believe it's obvious we had to pay such to bring in a prime African Giant into the country but some Cameroonian artists and fans couldn't digest that.
From the look on the comments that came in about this situation, it paints a clear picture of how we don't want to accept the fact that Nigerian artist are more influential than ours, that the Nigerian public knows how to sell its artists but on the contrary you hear stuffs like "Mr leo sep na who nor" "Magasco fit stand corner Burna boy, e di first sing na wety.. Dat wule bang bang. Massa lef man da ting we no get level" I dont disagree the fact that we can't match Nigeria music wise for now, but don't discredit your owns work because another artist lives a lavish lifestyle and brands himself more so i guess you all are forgetting its two different economies and government .

Another example, Cardi B the "Press" crooner recently was invited to perform in Nigeria and Ghana and Burna boy did open the show together with Tiwa Savage and more and to add, sources say she was paid 1,8 million dollars to perform in both countries now how much is that in FCFA ooooo I bet you thats a lot let me just let you convert and be wowed but neither Nigerians nor Ghanian artists complained about the paycheck nor about headlining the show....! " THERE ARE LEVELS TO THIS THING CALL SHOWBIZ"
"IF PERSON PASS YOU ABEG CARRY YE BAG"

To add, Ambe talked about "na which bolo wey wuna wantam make artists them do"  I bet you it's rather you drop that phrase on a beat rather than on Social media Cameroonian artists have to learn how to stop ranting online and do it in the booth on a beat. Create content, be available for your fans be online, get people to feel you even if it's short kits like "Teni" is doing or more like i see Salatiel and Stanley Enow doing. Dont drop a song and enter sousongo and you get active online only when you want to rant or talk about a concert....

NOTE : There is a difference between fans and followers.  Fans relate with the artists lifestyle and music while followers relate with your music.
Like, if you drop a song fans and followers get active but if you go underground for sometime, you loose followers as there are just there for the music while your fans will be there till death cause they felt you and your music not just your music.

To conclude, there are levels to this thing call showbiz and Cameroonians need to sell their artists get them trend on twitter and lot more. One more thing, Jamaica's population ain't that much yet their music sells worldwide so nobody should complain about the French public has to be satisfied or if you give me same market and exposure i shall work womders blablabla Jamaicans are not magicians.... All those excuses should drop and let's get our music to the world... Send them out to blogs and spotify curators, double your streaming numbers... It's not magic we can do it.
