If Hard work pays show me a successful Donkey my statement doesn't say you shouldn't work at all rather I am actually trying to point out the fact that, does who work really hard don't get really what they deserve.
To begin,my grandfather was a very hardworking man and he spent most of his time on his farmland working day in day out and for all those numbers of years spent on his farmland till he retired into his age of rest , he coundnt build skyscrappers nor afford a private jet neither a Lamborghini or ferrari but he was successful at his own level and you know how our grand parents behave joke with their every little thing but not their farms meaning they knew working hard is the only means of survival, yeah it surely helps but with the right mindset and the right influence, my grand father would have belt a skyscrapper for himself. Now the System is forcing us to be chained into a single route and that's;

This is why you fail in school see what you have to do get the grades you deserve
So most people turn to work an extra hard to please their boss and show they are hard working but most of those bosses don`t work as much as the employees but the bosses are the ones paying the employees so you turn to work hard as much as you can lets say for maybe a period of 10-15 years just enough to get someone(your boss) richer with lesser efforts and you the employee lesser rich with more efforts.
So why do Dangote or Fotso Victor have to own the companies and others work for them?
most people will say maybe they`re from rich families or maybe they have joined a "sect" as 7/10 of the population will say though that's really dumb( not being disrespectful but it always comes from the poor mindset). Lets badge into it str8t away... In Cameroon principally which is an underdeveloped country with a very poor economic system( yeah that's the truth no need to lie), an average person with at least an advanced level can make let's say 30.000FCFA a month depending on what so ever he`s doing what matters is the money. If you decide to keep as low as let's say 5.000Fcfa every month from your monthly budget in a locked or sealed account how much do you get a year? 60.000FCFA right? ok, what becomes of it in 3years time? you get 180.000bucks sitting there and just waiting to be used now lets not even look into what the bank might add upon to it as beneficial for your savings...there's a lot 180.000Fcfa can do in Cameroon right to begin a little something you don't necessarily need a million or more what you need is a good project plan a little investment and you ready to go. Now you can start up a small something lets say a hair saloon then employ someone to work for you while you still working and still saving and if that person is to work well after a 5year running strip you can quit your job like a boss and be your own boss and keep running your saloon investing more and more and within a period of 10years if done right and the principles of keeping and running your structure is done, your saloon can be one of the best saloons in town and thats the begining of something, what about 20years now if you started when you about 25years old so by 45years old you can be a millionaire with others working for you. so the point is not actually being from a rich family or being in a sect the point is learning how to save money and the best way to invest and be an entrepreneur... An advice, investing in your talent at its professional level will never let you down never ever.
Also being around the right set of people boost your confidence and brain structure( a drunkard only attracts a drunkard he won`t ever attract a manager only he who sees himself as a manager can attract a manager), get and build the right mindset(very important) Focsu on what you want don`t let yourself be distracted, get the blueprint or skeleton of your project and then invest in it big time and sit back to watch the magic of account figure automatically doubles up then most importantly, learn to be independent.
To conclude, hard work doesn't really assure you success but the right mindset would.
