MEANWHILE SDF CHAIRMAN JOHN FRU NDI CONFIRMS THE DATE FOR CONGRESS TO DETERMINE HIS CANDIDATURE FOR THE 2018 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

According to information relayed to us from alafnet.com  the next congress of the Social Democratic Front (Sdf) which has been the main opposition party in Cameroon since 1990,will be held in Bamenda on 28, 29 and 30 April 2017.

Our source indicated that this congress by SDF could determine if FRU NDI will be candidate in 2018 against CPDM’s ‘lion man’ Paul Biya, in power for 34 years.

Though still to be confirmed by the party, it is vital to note that  press reported 48 years old Joshua Osih who is currently deputy to the chairman had been cited as possible replacement for Fru Ndi.  The party rubbished the news then, but it is believed PM who was born in Kumba’s possible appointment could re-oxygenate  this great party which has been plagued by a series a queries about the chairman of longevity as the head of the party.

The SDF Parliamentarian for wouri is perfectly bilingual in French and English and  well-known nationally and internationally.

Meanwhile, Voters registration for the 2018 election organized by the Republic of Cameroun starts in Juanary 2017 and already 72 years old Garga Harman haji has indicated he will be standing for his Alliance for Democracy and Development (ADD).

we also understand that Bernard Njongang says he will be one of those facing Biya in the 2018 presidential elections in Cameroon.
