The President of the Republic of Cameroon, Mr.Paul Biya has moved out of his ‘permanent residence’ at the 6 th floor of the intercontinental hotel Geneva. According to a reliable source on phone to kamerwaves, Mr Biya and wife Chantal are now in a secure private residence in Lausanne, a city in the outskirts of Geneva, located in the lake Leman border with France.
kamerwaves source added that all that is left of the 84 years old president of the West African country in the Intercontinental Hotel in Geneva -Switzerland , is a few members of his delegation and his bodyguards who occupy the sixth floor that has been reserved for the presidential Delegation for decades at the expense of Cameroon taxpayer.The Cameroonian treasure as usual will pay for two more weeks, that the Biya’s delegation has booked to lodge in this hotel.
In addition to the bills accrued at the Intercontinental Hotel,Alafnet.com gathered the Cameroonian treasury will also pay for the princely residence in Lausanne, all just to accommodate one individual, Paul Biya.
WHY DID BIYA MOVE OUT OF INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL?
The reasons for Biya’s move out of this luxurious Swiss hotel is that Emmanuel Kemta( who recently protested against Biya infront of the continental hotel Geneva) and the CODE -Europe are planning a massive demonstration at the Intercontinental Hotel.
The news was leaked to the Cameroonian presidential couple by Swiss authorities after the CODE in a letter notified the Geneva authorities to inform the neighborhood surrounding the continental hotel in Geneva of the planned massive protest against Biya .
On hearing this news Biya became scared and instead of returning to Cameroon, the ‘lion man’ and his wife Chantal choosed to lodge in the nearby city of Lausanne.
Officially Cameroonians do not known the where about of their President who has been absent from the country for 30 days now.
A communique by the civil Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic on the 16 th of September 2016, announced that the head of state accompanied by his wife Chantal Biya left Yaounde Nsimalen International airport for New York in the United States of America, where he is expected to take part in the 71st session of the United NATIONS General Assembly. He has still not returned to Yaounde.
As reported by kamerwaves, Paul Biya had left New York, the day before the closing date of the General Assembly of the United Nations for Geneva, Switzerland and is currently at the continental hotel.
