The Cameroonian students, graduates of the 2014 session living abroad, are in serious problems regarding the loss of their certificates.
A few weeks ago, a group of parents were seen addressing the Director of the Office of the baccalaureate of Cameroon (OBC). Dated May 4, 2016, demanding with anger the certificates of their children.
According to the parents of students, it's been several months now since they undertook the process of keeping in their possessions the original certificates of the baccalaureate session 2014, obtained by their children. In vain. If the injustice is digestible on the side of students living in Cameroon, it is not the same for those residing abroad. Because, indeed, expatriate students encounter many difficulties to continue their education in the universities in Europe.
"These universities have taken into account our surveys giving a time limit for the production of the diploma. They do not understand that we cannot present a degree examination which took place almost two years ago. "The worst is that they suspect fake transcript that we had presented", explain the collective in the letter.
According to the Messenger of Friday, July 22, 2016, the collective's parents took in a letter dated May 4, 2016, the Minister of secondary education is to serve the action taken with the OBC to retrieve the degree of their offspring. Almost two months ago,we were to meet at the OBC to know at what level is their request, officials on the spot say ' actually being aware of this query. Except that ' correspondence is anonymous, unsigned, without header and therefore legally poses a problem ", regrets their interlocutor.
Faced with this response, a CBO source requiring anonymity indicates that "the Agency has failed timely to respond to this correspondence», to the chagrin of parents who no longer know what is their job.
