LAQUINTINIE HOSPITAL ADOPTS NEW REGULATIONS TO AVOID SCAMS AND MISS-MANAGEMENT

Measures for redeeming the hospital and giving confidence to users are been taken. After the first point won with the departure of hearses parked for years in front of the Laquintinie hospital, the health facility managers come to engage in another battle to dismiss the phenomenon of the past crisis. A banner deployed at the entrance of the institution explains that 'the hospital said no to the crisis. A radio release recently went viral, declining any responsibility of the institution in the event of scam. In the communiqué, the Director of the hospital has warned all who would try divert a patient or to extort money. Now, young people dressed in red chasuble with title «Laquintinie hospital in Douala» and the  left chest 'Home and guidance', are stationed outside to prevent any diversion of patients for any installed private structures around or elsewhere. A security firm was retained to provide security from outside. Inside, it is the medical staff who takes over. Trained assistants serve as guide for patients. For the Director of the Douala Laquintinie hospital, Prof. Louis Richard Nayak, there are now guides for any need or information. Laquintinie is 9 hectares of suburban hospital in which it is not always easy to move. The direction taken into account. Just as it took into account the complaints of patients including, at 60%, on the quality of the beds, bedding, toilets, the presence of mosquitoes etc. Everything is being implemented to make the hospitalized patient feel better. Marianne F., patient interned, explains: "I'm here for more than a week and I can say that things are really beginning to change, it is more quiet and staff is less aggressive than in the past.
