JOSE MOURINHO has had to cancel his appearance at a star-studded charity match organised by Samuel Eto’o.Mourinho was last week announced as one of the coaches set to take part in Eto’o’s big day. He’s raising funds to mark the anniversary of the Fundacion Privada Samuel Eto'o, his own charitable foundation. But Mourinho will instead be at the DW Stadium in Wigan for his first game as Manchester United boss. United’s first pre-season friendly kicks off at 1.30pm while the charity game, which is being played in Turkey, starts at 6pm UK time. The Express report that Mourinho has had to admit defeat in trying to get to both.He would have less than three hours to fly to Antaylya in south-west Turkey, where the game is being played. But flights there are over hour hours, ending Eto’o’s chances of getting the Special One at the game. There may be no Mourinho but Chelsea star Eden Hazard and former Blues midfielder Michael Essien are due to play.Eto'o, who played under Mourinho at Inter Milan and Chelsea, appeared to confirm his old boss' attendance on Instagram. He posted: "etoocharitymatch presence of #DiegoMaradona #FabioCapello #JoséMourinho and #ZangaDeri will be part of #EtooCharityMatch in #Antalya July16."#FPSE10thAnniversary #AntalyaArena #SamuelEtoo #FPSE #Celebration #Cameroon #Charity #Football #Match #Children."The game will see a World Stars team taking on a Turkey Stars team.It is also set to include the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar, Andres Iniesta, Francesco Totti, Xavi, Jay-Jay Okocha and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
