FORMER MINISTER MARAFA H.YAYA'S LAWYER CLAIMS THE MINISTER IS BECOMING BLIND ON HIS LEFT SIDE AND NEEDS MEDICAL ATTENTION

Regarding the recent media outlet of Issa Tchiroma Bakary, Minister of Communication (MINCOM), about the position of the United Nations Working Group on the Marafa case, Me Alice Kom says, “we saw in the case of Bakassi that nothing forced the giant Nigeria to submit to the judgment of the International Court of justice delivered on 10 October 2002. Yet despite everything Nigeria apologized and one should not be fooled by the chatter of Tchiroma. In this case Cameroon had the opportunity to present its defense and its arguments were being eroded. ”
To recall, last April, the Working Group of the United Nations on Arbitrary Detention concluded that Marafa Hamidou Yaya, former SG/PR, has been detained illegally.
